HEAD LINE is that the great-grandson of India’s first prime minister was arrested yesterday for promoting hatred against Muslims.

Varun Gandhi, 29, is alleged to have made hate speeches and incited violence ahead of next month’s national elections.

It is claimed he was filmed comparing a rival Muslim politician to Osama bin Laden and had threatened to cut the throats of Muslims at two recent political rallies.

But is is true that he will be bought to justice, just because he said a couple of words filled with Fury against the Muslims? Muslims constititute 14.6% of the total Indian Population, and i know with personal experience, that most of them are true Indians... may be not true Muslims though. Yet, the Sikhs constitiute up to 6.4%, and we've seen a lot of violence on that sector too. Can this Government afford to drop ties with the Sikhs? I don't think so....The Muslims have been doing exceptionally wonderful things in our society... In terms of promoting peace and personal Integrity.

And yet... we see Mr. Gandhi, advocating violence. Is there a difference between him and Bin Laden? The only difference visible is that Laden is doing the same thing discreetly.

Readers, please refer to my previous posts, and let's take an honest peek at how are Muslim Minorities treated in our country. Let's be honest and ask ourselves, who is the curator of violence in our society. Reminding the fact that the writer is not thinking as a Muslim or a Hindu, but as a human.
